
Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your use of the website ignitepadel.co.uk (the “Site”), your participation in any services provided by Ignite Padel Group Limited (“Ignite Padel”, “we”, “our” or “us”) and any bookings or activities at our venues. By accessing the Site, making a booking or using our facilities you confirm that you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Ignite Padel Group Limited is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16195877) with its registered office at First Floor, 5 Fleet Place, London, EC4M 7RD . Our physical venues are located in West Derby, Cheshire Oaks and Speke .
1. Definitions
* “Facilities” means the padel courts, coaching services, equipment, lounges and other amenities operated by Ignite Padel.
* “Booking” means a reservation for the use of Facilities, attendance at an event or participation in coaching.
* “User” means any person who uses the Site or the Facilities, whether as a casual visitor, participant, guest or event organiser.
* “Playtomic” means the third‑party online booking platform used to manage court reservations and payments.
2. Use of the site
2.1 You must be at least 16 years old to register for an account or make a Booking. If you are under 16 you may attend our venues only under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
2.2 You agree to use the Site for lawful purposes only and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of or restrict the use of the Site by any third party. You may not misuse the Site by knowingly introducing viruses or other malicious technology.
2.3 All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos and photographs, is owned by or licensed to Ignite Padel. You may view, download for caching purposes and print pages from the Site for your own personal use, but you may not reproduce, duplicate, copy or exploit content for commercial purposes without our permission.
3. Bookings and payments
3.1 All court bookings and event reservations are processed through Playtomic. To make a Booking you must create an account with Playtomic and agree to their terms and privacy policy. Playtomic shares relevant booking information with us so we can manage your reservation. Payments are processed by Playtomic; we do not store your payment card details.
3.2 The price for your Booking will be displayed on Playtomic prior to payment. Prices may vary by time, venue and type of activity. Fees are payable in full at the time of booking. We may change our prices at any time; the price confirmed when you place your Booking is the price payable.
3.3 If you need to cancel or reschedule your Booking you must do so at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made through Playtomic more than 24 hours in advance will receive a credit or refund in accordance with Playtomic’s policies. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start time or failure to attend may result in the full fee being charged.
3.4 We reserve the right to cancel or amend a Booking due to circumstances beyond our control (such as maintenance, weather or staff illness). Where possible we will offer an alternative date or issue a refund or credit.
4. Use of facilities
4.1 Users must check in at reception before using any Facilities and comply with instructions from our staff. We may require proof of identity or membership.
4.2 Appropriate sports clothing and non‑marking footwear must be worn on court. Users must not wear outdoor shoes on court.
4.3 Smoking, vaping and the consumption of illegal drugs are not permitted anywhere on our premises. Alcohol is available in some lounge areas; guests consuming alcohol must do so responsibly. Being intoxicated on court is not permitted.
4.4 You must not take food or glass containers onto the courts.
4.5 Please use any equipment provided carefully and return it after use. Users are liable for any damage caused by misuse.
4.6 We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any person whose behaviour is, in our reasonable opinion, abusive, unsafe, disruptive or likely to cause damage or distress to others.
5. Health and safety
5.1 You acknowledge that padel is a physical activity and carries inherent risks of injury. You participate at your own risk and agree to seek medical advice if you have any concerns about your fitness.
5.2 You agree to follow all safety rules and instructions provided by our staff and coaches. This includes warming up properly, using equipment as instructed and reporting any hazards or injuries immediately.
5.3 We are not responsible for the loss, theft or damage of personal property brought onto our premises. Use of lockers is at your own risk.
5.4 We will only be liable for personal injury or death caused by our negligence or that of our employees or coaches. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all other liability for loss or damage, whether direct or indirect.
6. Memberships and events
6.1 Membership (where offered) provides access to facilities and benefits as described at the time of purchase. Memberships are non‑transferable and fees are payable in advance. Unless stated otherwise, membership fees are non‑refundable.
6.2 We may offer corporate or private event packages. Additional terms may apply to such events, including minimum numbers, deposit requirements and cancellation policies. These will be communicated at the time of booking.
6.3 We may change or withdraw membership packages, benefits or events at any time by giving reasonable notice to affected members or organisers.
7. Conduct and communications
7.1 Ignite Padel is committed to providing a welcoming environment for all. Discrimination or harassment based on race, gender, disability, religion, sexual orientation or any other protected characteristic will not be tolerated.
7.2 By joining our WhatsApp community or social media channels you agree to act respectfully towards other participants. We are not responsible for the content posted by users but may remove content or participants who breach these rules.
7.3 We may send you service messages, updates and marketing communications. You may opt out of marketing at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in the message or contacting us.
8. Intellectual property and copyright
8.1 The Ignite Padel name and logo and all related product and service names are trade marks of Ignite Padel Group Limited. You may not use these marks without our prior written consent.
8.2 You may not copy, reproduce or publicly display any part of the Site or our materials without permission. Use of our logo or images for news reporting or comment is permitted provided you credit Ignite Padel and do not misrepresent the brand.
9. Personal data and privacy
9.1 Our privacy policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data. By using the Site or making a Booking you consent to our processing of your personal data in accordance with our privacy policy.
10. Changes to these Terms
10.1 We may amend these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, our services or our operations. Any changes will be posted on this page. If the changes materially affect your rights or obligations we will give you reasonable notice (e.g. via email or a prominent notice on the Site). Continued use of the Site or our Facilities after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
11.1 These Terms and any dispute or claim arising from them or their subject matter are governed by English law. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms.
